Coglab info for the Cognizants ;-)
August 29, 2006
Hey Cog Scholars,
We will go over getting into Coglab today.
Here is the Link to Coglab (I usually just google it):
——————————————————
Here are the instructions to logging into Coglab. You may want to print these out or open them into another tab to follow along with as you log in.
You will need three pieces of information to log in:
1. Our group ID is NGCSU
2. Our access password is psycho
3. You will also need a registration code.
——————————————————
If you didn’t buy a text bundled with a registration code you may purchase one from the publisher. I found a reader bundled with the e pin code for 23.36 or so here.
The ISBN is: ISBN-10: 0534574106 | ISBN-13: 9780534574109

Be sure to put in your name correctly so that I know to give you credit for your participation.

Scholars,
A few words about text books. I have arranged for Intro Psych students to have electronic books if they wish. The electronic books are about 1/2 price so pay attention. Specifics will be gone over when we cover the syllabus on day 1.
My 8 a.m. class will be using myers in modules 8e from Worth Publishers. You can get the book electroniclly here: http://ebooks.bfwpub.com/psychmod.php
If for some reason you want an old school book you can get one in the bookstore or about a zillion places online since it is one of the most popular textbooks on the planet.
The Collaborative Knowledge Development Learning Community needs to grab a an electronic copy of Saundra K. Ciccarelli’s Psychology. It is “the” other intro psych text. Again, very popular
You can purchase it online here: http://www.safarix.com/0131839594
