Hey you Cog-Heads,

I just deleted the attention slides and added a new set with minor changes from our podcasting channel. You probably don’t want to print them out… I can’t image it being helpful.

We should complete most of it today and we can finish up on Tuesday when group 1 actually educates us ;-)

Aging quiz for chapter 2

January 28, 2008

It is my belief that I set-up your chapter 2 quiz… you should see it at 8 a.m. on Tuesday the 29th… it will be available to take up to 3 times before class on Thursday.

I should record your highest score and I’ve given you 15 minutes for 10 questions this time… you still need to be prepared. Use this as a learning tool.

new aging blog reminder

January 28, 2008

Did everyone see that I created a new blog for aging because of the edublog problems…

It feeds into our VISTA site and you can aggregate it… be sure an check it for updates about our class.

Aging on the 29th…

January 28, 2008

We continue to move forward… thanks for your patients as we recover from the missed snow day.

I am going to UGA tomorrow with Dr. Noble’s Neuro-Scholars and think that I agreed to meet this chapters collaboration group around 11 in my office (I leave town at noon).

I plan on creating the quiz for chapter 2 this morning and uploading it to VISTA… You should see it on Tuesday as available… this week I want everyone to have completed it by class-time on Thursday. That means you should spend quality time with your text on Tuesday (or even before).

Cognition Scholars,

Just a reminder that tomorrow I will be going to UGA with Dr. Noble’s Neuro Scholars to look at their imaging lab… You all have plenty to do.

The classroom will be available and I am suggesting that the Collaborative Media Sharing groups get together to think about what they are going to do and figure out who are the leaders and who are the followers ;-)

I can see that some group 1 folks have already messed around with the shared document… you all should have gotten an email… if not, Catherine Ashley can add people because I talked to her and know that she can access the document.

Use your time wisely… at the very least befriend your textbook… it’s actually very good reading.

Just passing the info along… some of you should definitely give this a try…

For the record

… I too am praying to the flying spaghetti monster to bring us some snow.

Candles are burning on my pirate alter and I am simmering some marinara.
