FYI folks: let’s take care of each other….

We are seeing an increase of students in Student Health Services with viral gastroenteritis (vomiting, diarrhea, etc.) and “flu like symptoms” (fever, body aches, and coughing).  Students whose test is positive for the flu are sent home by SHS and the Academic Dean is notified.  Some students have the symptoms and do not have a positive result when swabbed for the flu.  Please refer sick students to Student Health or ask them to see their family physician for appropriate medical treatment.  Encourage students who are sick to stay home and contact their professors.
