Intro Exam!
April 14, 2008
Our individual exam over learning, memory, and cognition is today. Collaborative exam on Wednesday.
The exam follows the honor code. It is closed book, closed note, closed neighbor. A proctor will be there for me and I am telling her to confiscate the exams of anyone with wandering eyes…. so look straight ahead and if you believe there are cheaters around you… cover your scantron.
Remember to study as you take the exam. Think about the questions and prepare for Wednesday. Almost everyone is in great shape to pass the class and many of you are in a position to get really high marks. I’m so so proud
Next up: Chapter 6, Attention and Perception
February 25, 2008
Aging Scholars,
We are gonna skip Ch5 for now because of the snow day and getting behind. This will get us back on our course outline.
We are set for Attention and Perception this week. I will meet our 3 collaborators on Tuesday. Did you guys actually use the resources to study or to help you find test answers? I’ll be sharing grades on the collaborative by Thursday and giving the scantrons back so everyone can prepare for the final. (P.S. the grades are great, you guys might be the smartest class ever
I will have the quiz up by tomorrow for chapter 6.
WebCT / VISTA
January 14, 2008
Hello Scholars,
I’m still messing with WebCT / VISTA… trying to get everyone in the same place… if you added the class after last Wednesday I probably need to add you into the course by hand… log into VISTA and see if you see anything.
Here is the VISTA directions and help page if you’ve never done it before.
Aging folks should see “Psychology of Aging 8 - Spring 2008 PSYC-3181-A” as the course… I am waiting on a Respondus Testbank from the publisher… if there is no quiz there tomorrow you should not freak out… you should be thankful.
Intro Psych folks should all be in Section G.
There is only one Cognition sections so I shouldn’t have to mess with that one.
